Known Issues in Version 0.6.1 and 0.6.2
– If an article is added to the Archived Articles section, it will show an error like “Error stating file […]” until the feed is updated, to download the actual content
– After upgrading to PR1.2, you might need to remove and re-add the home-screen widget if it displays a black box
Tips
– When reading an article, you can swipe left or right to go to the previous or next article in the list
– Image caching can be enabled in the Preferences menu. Images will be automatically downloaded during feed updates, and be available for offline reading.
– To schedule an update at a specific time, use a scheduler (such as cron) to launch “/usr/bin/FeedingIt update” without the quotes
– To display a brief status of the feeds from the command line (or another program, launch “/usr/bin/FeedingIt status” without the quotes
– You can add a widget to your home screen to monitor the top 8 feeds. It will update automatically when a feed is updated in the main application
– Double-clicking a feed name on the widget will open the main application with this feed open
– If you’re having trouble updating feeds while connected to 3G, try to disable the Proxy Support in the menu
